The Alumni Association and Gender Equity Cell in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of our college have launched a programme Pragati in 2023. This initiative has offered ample opportunity to the former students as well as present students of our college to showcase their work, ranging from handicrafts to food items and also to sell their products to the visitors. It may be mentioned that this maiden initiative has produced monetary transactions of more than Rs. 50000/- on a single day. More than 34 students participated in this event who displayed their works–jewellery, textiles and fabrics, home decor and art, as well as various food items. The college is committed to create a start-up culture among the young learners who get a first-hand experience of business at their very early age. The enthusiasm and elan displayed by the students boost us to initiate this programme on a yearly basis.
