About The Department
The Computer Science Department of Prasanta Chandra Mahalanobis Mahavidyalaya established in the year 2010 ,offers three year of degree course of B.Sc ( Hons & General) under West Bengal State University (WBSU). Our mission is to spread the light of knowledge through learning, freedom and equality. This department provides value based education with a view to generate self-confidence in the students. Teachers guide the students to be self reliant. The strong student -teacher bond is the roots of the department’s development. The teachers try to make the students socially committed with changing global environment.. The aim of this department is to make students understand that textual knowledge is not the ultimate gain of one’s life.
